I have checked the record of the assessment of my property at 2033 Buckskin Trail, and I believe I have found two errors: the assessment is calculated on a square footage of 100,000. In fact, the dimensions of the lot are 150' by 100', or 15,000 square feet. In addition, the "single-family dwelling" referred to in the assessment is a storage shed. In order to stay on good terms with the neighbors, we added a false front and landscaping. I would be pleased to meet you or someone from your office to show you the interior of the shed.
I understand that such problems arise in any major reassessment. I do hope, however, to resolve the matter as soon as possible as taxes based on this assessment represent a real burden to my business.
